We have advanced to June in our club's 50th Anniversary calendar (you did get one, right?) and this month Don Andre's beautiful '57 Bel Air powered with a GM Performance Ram Jet fuel injected engine graces the calendar this month!

DACC member Jody Stiff brought his '55 Chevy to the Gasoline & Chrome car show in Lewisville and was awarded a 'Top 10' award for his beautiful Bel Air Chevy! Congrats!!!

A BIG congrats to our club member Kelly Martinez for taking the 'Best of Show CAR' category with his killer '57 Chevy at the Gasoline & Chrome car show at Golden Star Classic Auto Parts! Martinez took the Favorite '57 Chevy Award at the Tri Five Chevy Show the previous month (where we celebrated our club's 50th Anniversary in style!) and Martinez followed up with this award at our Gasoline & Chrome Car Show! Looks like the younger Martinez accepted the award in Lewisville! Congrats to the family!

We look back on Throwback Thursday on the 50 years of DACC and this Thursday we are in 2013 when our club went to the Coyote Drive In in Ft Worth for Drive In Movie Night with our Tri Five Chevys!

A big congrats goes to club member Crishana Briney who with hubby Patrick had two cars at the Gasoline & Chrome Car Show at Golden Star Classic Auto Parts, his 1955 Bel Air and her 1961 Nash Metropolitan Convertible (better known as Arthur). Crishana took the 'People's Choice' award at the show and for good reason! The Austin Motor Company in England never intended for their Nash Metropolitan to take the shape this one is! Art Morrison chassis, LS3 with over 400 horsepower, Strange 9 inch rear and the list goes on - you get the picture! Congrats to Crishana!
