Today is my son Micah’s 7th birthday! 🎉🎂

Micah and I were hanging out last night watching our Valley View Lady Cougars battle North Pocono on YouTube Live — and the Cougars came through with another big win! 🐾🔥

Valley View improved to 9–1, and Micah was loving every second of it. He’s a true little Lady Cougars fan! So much fun having him right by my side — cheering, soaking it all in, and making memories that matter most. Time flys! I’m a Lakeland 2002 Graduate! Micah attends first grade at Valley View and I now work there as maintenance! ❤️🏀😊

🏀🔥 WYOMING VALLEY CLUTCH PLAYERS OF THE GAME 🔥🏀

⭐ Faith Pavalonis — 25 points
⭐ Cassidy Merrifield 11 points
✅ Riverside 46, Mid Valley 36

Riverside is heating up at the perfect time. 🔥🏀

The Lady Vikings came out flying—bringing instant intensity and never letting Mid Valley settle in. The result: a statement 46–36 win powered by a takeover performance from Faith Pavalonis (25) and an early-game tone-setter from Cassidy Merrifield (11).

Cassidy found her shot early and gave Riverside that first punch. Faith was patient at first… but the moment her first three finally splashed? Switch = flipped. 💥

From there, she got into a rhythm and started burying threes, controlling the flow and forcing Mid Valley to chase. And when it came time to close, Riverside stayed calm and iced it at the line, knocking down late free throws to stretch the lead and lock it up.

Now it’s on to the one everyone’s circling. 👀

Big stage. Big matchup. Riverside is rolling in with confidence. 💪🔥

Our Lou Camoni Tournament CONSOLATION Game Hidden Hero of the Game is Kamri Naniewicz! 🏀

Kamri flipped the game in the second half with her defense and rebounding — making stops, battling on the boards, and doing all the tough work that doesn’t always show up loud enough in the stat sheet.

And she still brought offense too, finishing with 9 points as Lakeland pulled away for a strong 41–20 win over Carbondale.

Big-time impact. Big-time hustle. That’s a hidden hero performance.

Our Lou Camoni Tournament CONSOLATION Game Player of the Game is Olivia Beier! 💪🔥🏀

Last night, Olivia was locked in and ready to respond when her moment came — stepping up in a big way while filling in for injured starter Natalie Rude, who went down Saturday against Valley View.

She brought nonstop energy: hustling for loose balls, battling for rebounds, and making winning plays every trip down the floor. And when Lakeland needed points? Olivia delivered.

✅ 2 points third Quarter
✅ 10 points in the fourth quarter

That’s a next player up performance — all heart, all hustle, all impact.

Our Lou Camoni Tournament Championship Player of the Game is Valley View’s Cora Castellani — and your Tournament MVP! 💪🔥🏆

Cora poured in 20 points and was absolutely everywhere. She played with that nonstop, attack-mode energy — diving for loose balls, crashing the glass, pushing the pace, hunting steals, and making plays every possession. The hustle never turned off. As she always does every game!

Final line:
20 points | 5 rebounds | 4 assists | 2 steals

Behind Castellani’s all-around dominance, Valley View rolled to a 52–19 win over Mid Valley on Monday night to cap off a championship run in style! 💛💙🏀

Our Lou Camoni Tournament Championship Hidden Hero of the Game from last night is Valley View’s Ava Gazoo!

Ava finished with 8 points, but her impact went way beyond the scoreboard — she brought a defensive masterclass with 4 steals and 2 blocks, and she was a force on the glass all night, crashing rebounds and turning stops into momentum.

Those “little things” weren’t little at all — they were game-changing.

Behind Gazoo’s hustle and Valley View’s relentless team defense, the Lady Cougars rolled past Mid Valley 52–19 to capture the championship! 🏆

THE PACK STAYS TOGETHER 🐾🏆

Valley View didn’t just win the 19th Annual Lou Camoni Tournament… they hunted together — swarming the ball, owning the glass, and setting the tone with that “we’re-not-moving” Cougar defense from the opening tip.

Cora Castellani powered the pack, and Mady Minelli continues to rise into a defensive star right before our eyes.
