Saturday Morning Session
BDA came out firing on all cylinders to kick off Saturday morning!
200 Free
Jace Preate set the tone early, jumping back in after his standout 500 and 400 IM and attacking the 200 free with confidence. He blasted out with a lifetime-best opening 100 (58.01) and closed strong, dropping nearly 6 seconds to finish in 2:05.44โan awesome way to start the session!
Not to be outdone, Sophia Galko put on a 200 free clinic of her own, slicing over 8 seconds off her BDA best to touch in 2:06.86, punching her ticket back to finals that night.
100 Breast
Ryder Bevan made his first splash of the weekend count, throwing down a huge 4-second drop to post a 1:11.63, earning himself a spot in the B Final.
100 Fly
Ryder was right back at it, staying relaxed early and charging home strong to clock a new best of 1:04.22, shaving another half-second off his previous time.
Backstroke Events
Jace returned for the 200 Back, going out close to his best 100 and hammering the back half for a massive 6-second drop and a new best of 2:22.51, landing him solidly in the top 16 for finals!
Sophia followed with a strong 100 Back, pushing the pace and earning herself yet another night swim.
50 Free
Sprint mode activated!
Kaito Stulgis raced hard to drop again, finishing in 26.76 after already breaking into Silvers.
Jace proved distance swimmers can sprint tooโdropping a jaw-dropping 1.6 seconds to post 25.08!
Ryder powered home with a 1.2-second drop, touching in 24.85.
Sophia capped it off with a solid 26.15.
All three earned another return trip for finals!
200 Medley Relay โ 13โ14 Boys
The BDA boys were locked in and ready to race!
Jace led off with a blazing 29.58 backstroke splitโcracking 30 for the first time!
Ryder followed with a fast 32.26 breast split.
Kaito flew through his leg with a lifetime-best 31.67.
Paxton Lebar brought it home strong with a 32.26 anchor.
The team crushed their seed time by 7 seconds, finishing with an awesome 2:05.77!

12 & Under Session
Arabella Bevan showed she belongs at Silvers, taking her 100 Breast to the next level with a 2.69-second drop, finishing in 1:36.32.
Addy Trently followed with an incredible swim, slicing off 3.71 seconds, cracking the 1:30 barrier, and finishing in 1:27.45!

๐ Finals โ Finishing Strong ๐
Sophia Galko kept the momentum rolling in finals, lowering her 200 Free again to 2:06.16 and moving up from 16th to 14th place. She followed with a strong 100 Back for 16th, then wrapped up her night with a lucky 13th-place finish in the 50 Free (26.20).
Ryder Bevan delivered another clutch performance in finals, shaving off more time in the 100 Breast to post a new best 1:11.55 and earn 14th place. He capped off his day with his best swim of the meet, jumping to 10th place in the 50 Free with a big drop to 24.64.

Jace Preate saved something special for finals, unleashing an AMAZING 200 Back. With a smoother start and a powerful finish, he rocketed up to 9th place with a huge 2:17.35โa swim that also would have placed him ahead of the 8th-place finisher!
