Grind Baseball Mills 13U Roll Past Maryland Baseball Club SO 13U

Grind Baseball Mills 13U easily dispatched Maryland Baseball Club SO 13U on Saturday, 11-2.

Grind Baseball Mills 13U jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Max V grounded out, scoring one run, an error scored one run, and Hunter S singled, scoring two runs.

Three more Grind Baseball Mills 13U runs crossed the plate in the second inning to extend the lead to 7-2. Matthew D scored after tagging up, and Max homered to left field, scoring two runs.

Grind Baseball Mills 13U added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Hunter grounded out, and Maryland Baseball Club SO 13U dropped a third strike, each scoring one run.

Max earned the win for Grind Baseball Mills 13U. The starter gave up two hits and two runs (one earned) over four innings, striking out six and walking two. James H stepped on the mound first for Maryland Baseball Club SO 13U. The pitcher surrendered four hits and seven runs (three earned) over one and two-thirds innings, striking out one and walking two. Jackson G tossed one inning of no-run ball for Grind Baseball Mills 13U in relief. The reliever allowed one hit, striking out none and walking two.

Hunter, the number seven hitter for Grind Baseball Mills 13U, led the way with three runs batted in. The shortstop went 1-for-2 on the day. Brian M, Jackson, Hunter, Max, and Matthew each collected one hit for Grind Baseball Mills 13U. Grind Baseball Mills 13U had patience at the plate, collecting 10 walks for the game. Mason T and Larry F led the team with two walks each.

Lucas M led Maryland Baseball Club SO 13U with one run batted in. The shortstop went 1-for-2 on the day. Lucas, Braydan Y, and Jacob L each collected one hit for Maryland Baseball Club SO 13U. Dominic B and Jacob each stole multiple bases for Maryland Baseball Club SO 13U.

Grind Baseball Mills 13U will travel to WildKats 13U for their next game on Sunday.
