With nearly 400 walkers this year, we at the top of the most active chapters, and it's all because of you!

To celebrate, we invite you to join us for a Thanksgiving walk on November 21st. We'll have light snacks, hot c***r and hot chocolate and some swag to share. More details are coming so keep an eye out.

The Friends of the Connector Trail had an amazing day last Saturday cleaning up the trails of Connell Park. 6 tires, 3 recliners/sectionals, a car seat and lots of other litter were picked from the trail sides.

South Scranton deserves clean and beautiful nature, and we're so happy to do our part!

Meet Dr. Chitallia at the Walk With A Doc event on Saturday! We meet as a group every Saturday 10am at 800 Gibbons Street in Scranton.

This Saturday, the Connell Park Walking Club welcomes Dr. Ali Chittalia, a Geisinger primary care physician with over 20 years of primary care experience. Dr. Chittalia will speak with us about Hypertension. As usual, he'll be available for informal conversation as we walk! All ages and abilities welcome. Thanks, Dr. Chittalia!

Attention! No walk with weekend, Saturday, 2 May.
This Saturday is The Office 5K and we welcome you to come celebrate all things Scranton and The Office.
Our walking volunteers help make this race happen, and we'd love to see you enjoy some local food, vendors, guest celebrities and of course the costume contest.

This Saturday we're going to with Rails to Trails Conservancy!
We'll be joined Matt from the Pocono Heritage Land Trust who will walk us through the iNaturalist app. This let's us identify plants, animals and insects along our walk, helping build a database of local nature during the .

This weekend is jam-packed with events!
We are doing the City Nature Challenge with Pocono Heritage Land Trust, or PHLT, as our big Celebrate Trail Day event!

For anyone with a smart phone, you can download the iNaturalist app ahead of our walk (details in the link below). Our speaker, Matt from the PHLT will give a brief tutorial on the app before we head into the trails and log all the plants, bugs and animals we come across!

Anyone not doing this 'bio blitz' will have a chance to help clean up our trails with provided gloves and bags. Or just enjoy the beauty of it all!

It's that time of year again, the Walk With A Doc April Walk Challenge!
The goal is to walk for at least 21 minutes a day, in recognition of Walk With A Doc's 21 Year Anniversary. Or aim high like David, who walked 1,960 minutes during last year's challenge and landed in the top 25% nation wide!

What a great first walk we had! Dr. Tom Roe kicked us off with a talk about heart health, reminding us of key ways to keep our hearts beating strong.
Our first outing in the trails was adventurous, with some muddy patches and puddles to navigate, but we conquered it together!
