Due to air quality alerts the Muddy Fox Trot has been postponed until next Saturday the 25th.

PLEASE READ FOR INFORMATION REGARDING REFUNDS

Due to air quality alerts issued by the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE), West Shore Community College has postponed the 11th annual Muddy Fox Trot.

Originally scheduled for Saturday, July 18, the family-friendly 5K mud run has been rescheduled for Saturday, July 25, as the air quality alert is expected to remain in effect. All race heats will begin at their originally scheduled start times on the new date.

The health and safety of participants, volunteers, and spectators remain the college's top priority. The postponement was made out of an abundance of caution in response to the ongoing air quality conditions.

Participants who are unable to attend on July 25 may request a refund by contacting Julie Smith at the West Shore Community College Wellness Center at 231-843-5949 or [email protected].

🌊❄️ LAKE JUMP 2026 MADE A SPLASH — LITERALLY! ❄️🌊

What an incredible day for our community and the West Shore Amateur Hockey Association! Thanks to the generosity and spirit of our jumpers, sponsors, and supporters, this year’s Lake Jump raised an amazing $21,539 for WSAHA!

💙 50 brave jumpers took the icy plunge, proving once again that a little cold water can create a huge wave of support- this time for youth hockey.

These funds will directly support WSAHA’s mission—keeping youth hockey affordable, enhancing player development, maintaining safe facilities and equipment, and supporting strong coaching and mentorship for our young athletes. The impact of this event will be felt on and off the ice all year long.
