Congratulations to Kennedy Carter for earning this scholarship at the Lady Invitational of the South Tournament!!!

In the 29-year history of the Lady Invitational of the South girls basketball tournament at Allen County-Scottsville, the Dollar General Corporation has supported the tournament with cash scholarships. Prior to the tournament, participating LIS coaches can nominate one of their student-athletes for the $500 cash scholarship from Dollar General. A LIS committee reviews the nomination which takes into consideration not only a student's transcript and ACT/SAT scores but also community involvement for an off-the court perspective.

This year, Lady Patriot Kennedy Carter received one of the three scholarships offered. Congratulations Kennedy!

The Golf Season has officially come to an end after yesterday’s First Round of the KHSAA State Tournament in Calvert City. Unfortunately, Ella did not qualify to advance. I am very proud of the way she battled out there yesterday and represented ACS and our community the right way. Congratulations Ella on a fantastic Senior Season!!!

Congratulations to Ella Anderson for qualifying for the 1st Round of the KHSAA State Tournament on Monday, September 29 at Calvert City CC. She had a really good round in tough conditions today. And she was voted to the All Region Team by the coaches as one of the Top 5 in our Region this season!!!
