Scottsdale Scuba Scottsdale SCUBA is a full service SCUBA store owned by Rick Owens. Scottsdale SCUBA specializes in personal instruction to meet every students' needs!

Rick has been certifying students and servicing divers in the Phoenix area for over 30 years! Rick is the owner and main instructor. He was certified in 1987 at Catalina Island and immediately fell in love with the sport. He became a PADI instructor in July 1991 and has literally trained thousands of divers, including many instructors and store owners that are operating locally and throughout the

world. Rick opened Scottsdale Scuba in 1991 and learned the SCUBA industry from the ground up. He has a wide range of knowledge in every area of the sport! He believes that learning to SCUBA should be fun and he creates a laid back, fun and positive environment in which to learn! We believe that the number one priority of a SCUBA store should be customer service. Because of this belief, he tells his customers that he prefers not to be called a SCUBA store, but rather a SCUBA instructor that sells equipment, runs trips and services all brands of equipment!

We are starting something new! We are experimenting with a $300.00 SCUBA class. It includes everything you will need to get certified except for Mask, Snorkel, Boots, Fins of SCUBA quality, and entry fee into Lake Pleasant. And of course, you can purchase all those items in our store!
