A Life Remembered
James E McKaskle, 52, passed away unexpectedly on January 16, 2022. James was born in La Mirada, California on March 3, 1969 to his surviving mom, Pamela Ann Forest. He grew up with his sister Tammy Lea Black and raised his daughter, Meranda McKaskle and son James McKaskle Jr.
James spent his earlier life in California where he started his family and moved to Arizona in 2006, where he spent his remaining years. James thrived on being a mentor, instructor and student. He entwined his love for the lord and martial arts to create a dynamic practice of encouragement and enlightenment within his dojo. While running a successful martial arts dojo, he received his bachelor's degree in Science Religion at Liberty University. James was artful in using scripture mixed with martial arts to help his students advance in their practice and life. His encouragement, accountability and love will be missed, but not forgotten. His practice will live on in each students and teachers daily practices.
Celebration of Life will be held at 14401 N 35th Pl, Phoenix, AZ 85032 on February, 19th, 2022 from 11:00am-1:00pm. We encourage you to bring a memory and/or picture in contribution to memory books for Meranda and James (4x6 format).
