McDowell Mountain Golf Club is located on land owned jointly by the Federal Bureau of Reclamation and the City of Scottsdale. The course was designed by golf course architect Randy Heckenkemper and included improvements by widening of the playing corridors, the reshaping of a number of fairways, several new teeing areas, additional strategic waste bunkers, and more! Built on the western slope of Scottsdale's McDowell Mountains, and adjacent to the nationally recognized Westworld equestrian center, this premier golf course now stretches to 7,072-yards, and delivers a stunning Scottsdale golf experience.

A little behind-the-scenes look at what’s happening around the course this week! 🌱💧
Our maintenance team has been focused on keeping the range irrigation running smoothly, checking sprinklers and drains, while also making big progress on the lake project.
The new lake liner is officially in, and we’re getting closer to seeing water back in the lake!
A lot of work happens behind the scenes to keep the course looking and playing its best. We can’t wait to share more with you!
