What an incredible weekend in Las Vegas! 🌵🥋

The Cactus Jiu Jitsu team had the privilege of training with Master Pedro Sauer and members of the Pedro Sauer Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Association at the Rio Las Vegas.

The weekend was filled with hands-on instruction, technical training, demonstrations, promotions, and time connecting with friends and instructors from across the association. We learned a tremendous amount, sharpened our understanding of Gracie Jiu Jitsu, and came home with new details and ideas that we are excited to share with our students.

More than anything, the weekend was a reminder of what makes this association special: world-class instruction, respect for the art and its lineage, and friendships built through training.

Thank you to Master Sauer and everyone who helped make the gathering such a memorable experience. We had a great time, learned a lot, and are proud to bring that knowledge home to the Cactus Jiu Jitsu family in Scottsdale.

Thanksgiving Schedule Update 🦃

With apologies to our members and families, we just realized that our Thanksgiving message from yesterday never posted. Classes on Thursday and Saturday are canceled to give everyone time to enjoy the holiday with loved ones.

But don’t worry—all adults and teens are welcome to join us for an Open Mat session on Friday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM to burn off some of those Thanksgiving calories! 💪
