**UPDATE** We are sorry to announce that GM Monie just recently passed away. This webinar will continue as scheduled and donations are accepted more than ever to help the family. Our sincere condolences to the Velez family.

Grandmaster Monie Velez, a pillar of Balintawak, has inspired countless students throughout his life. Since 2023, however, GM Velez has faced mounting medical bills from a heart attack and sepsis. His condition has worsened recently, making ongoing financial support critical.

GM Velez's dedication to Balintawak has touched many, including his friend, Manong Yuli Romo. Manong Yuli will conduct an online Ilustrisimo seminar to help with GM Velez's recovery.

All proceeds from this donation-based seminar will go directly towards GM Velez's medical expenses. Let us support this revered figure who has given so much to Filipino Martial Arts.
