NEVER FORGET
We remember the lives lost that morning, and the first responders who ran toward the danger when everyone else was running out.
In the days that followed, flags went up on every street. Strangers lined up to give blood, and neighbors checked on neighbors. For a while there were no sides, only Americans. That is worth remembering, and worth carrying forward.
Today we honor the fallen and thank the firefighters, police officers, paramedics, and service members who still answer the call.
First responders get free range time at SGC today. Thank you for your service.
