Just got back from a week in Lake Atitlán, Guatemala for our honeymoon!

Averaged over 20k steps per day, went on a super cool sunrise hike, and did some cliff jumping. One of the reasons why fitness is so important to me is because I want to be able to go on active adventures like this for my entire life!

Such an amazing, beautiful, and adventurous vacation. Just wanted to share a few pictures, but will share some videos of our adventure over the next few days!

Who’s getting their morning movement medicine?

On days where I don’t get some form of movement in the morning, I feel more sluggish, and less present with the people I am working with.

Not to mention, when I complete my workouts in the morning, I have the rest of the day open!

It’s easy in a society where instant gratification is boundless to get discouraged when you can’t get immediate results, but that is the journey of fitness and health. You have to put the work in. You have to remained disciplined. You have to stick to a plan.

But when you look back on the person you have become, you will feel incredibly accomplished!

Do you lose your balance when you squat? Do your heels come off the ground?

The banded ankle dorsiflexion mobilization could be useful for you! Add 1-2 sets of 10 into your warm-up and watch your squat balance and mobility improve significantly!
