GET FIRED UP FIREBIRDSSSSS 😏

Last spring, Chaparral Softball proved what can happen when a group believes, competes and refuses to be counted out!

We came within reach of something special…and now we’re coming back HUNGRY for more!

The road to a region championship. The road to a state championship. The road to making history.

IT STARTS NOW 🔥

This fall is about BUILDING: stronger athletes, better fundamentals, deeper softball IQ, confidence, community and a program prepared to compete at the highest level when spring arrives.

We want every Firebird who is interested in being part of Chaparral Softball to have an opportunity to come work with us!

🥎 Fall development is open to all Chaparral students interested in softball
🏋️ Weight training begins next week
📅 Tuesdays + Thursdays | 2:45–3:45 PM
🔥 Additional softball field sessions and community events coming throughout the fall!

We know where we left off.

Now it’s time to find out how far we’re willing to go.

IMPORTANT: A current physical and required athletic paperwork must be submitted to RMA (Register My Athlete) BEFORE participating in any activity.

All fall participation is voluntary and is not a prerequisite for spring tryouts.

What a season for our Firebirds. ❤️💛

Huge congratulations to Avery Shaughnessy on being named 5A All Conference First Team!! An incredible honor and one that is so well deserved. Avery’s leadership, toughness, consistency, and work ethic have made a huge impact on our program all season long, and we are beyond proud of everything she accomplished this year ✨

We also want to recognize our Firebirds who earned 5A All Conference Second Team honors:

• Makenzie Leathers
• Kaelyn Moffitt
• Riley Zimmerman

To be recognized among the best players in Arizona 5A softball is a huge accomplishment, and these athletes played a major role in the special season we had this year. Their commitment, competitiveness, and impact on our program helped define who we were all season long 🫡

So proud of all four of these athletes and the way they represented Chaparral Softball this season. Well deserved, Firebirds. 🔥🐦‍🔥

What a year to be a Firebird 🐦‍🔥✨

When this season started, nobody gave us a seat at the table. Last year’s program finished 14-17 and 2-9 in region.

This year? We didn’t just show up. We showed out 💃🏻

✨ 21-11 overall
✨ 9-3 region (2nd place)
✨ #3 AIA 5A state seed
✨ State Semifinalists

From 14-17 and 2-9 last year → to the final four in Arizona

This group beat the best pitching in the state.
They beat teams stacked with Division I commits.
They did it together, from scratch, and they never once blinked.

The foundation has been laid. The culture is real. And we are just getting started. 🔥

To every parent, booster, administrator, and community member who showed up, who believed, who drove, who cheered …THANK YOU. This program doesn’t run without you and we do not take a single moment of your support for granted.

And to every future Firebird watching from the stands, WE SEE YOU! We are building something you are going to want to be a part of. We can’t wait 💃🏻✨

To our incredible seniors, you set the standard. Everything that comes next gets built on what you started. That is your legacy. We love you.
