Not the weekend we had hoped to have going 0-3. But there were flashes. And outside of 1 inning in each of our 3 games we did really well. We are adjusting, it will take some time but we are getting there.

All that said we had a few performances to highlight. One in the circle and one at the plate.

Peyton Cook pitched in 2 games 5.1 innings with 6-SO and 2-BB.
Strike %- 63.8%. First pitch strikes- 69.4% Excellent work staying focused during some adversity!

Alexi Sayles had a .750 BA - .800 OBP - 2 single and a double with 2 RBI’s.

Would also like to at least shout out Maelyn Bowling with some aggressive base running swiping 4 bases in 3 games.

These ladies are ready to get back to work and learn from our lessons this fall! We will come out of our winter workouts stronger then we ever have been! Let’s go DC!

🌟 Demand Command Hadley 14U Shines Bright at Bring on the Heat Tournament!*🌟

This weekend, our ladies delivered an unforgettable performance, going a perfect 5-0 to claim the Bring on the Heat tournament championship! With 38 runs scored and only 15 allowed, these young athletes showcased their skill, heart, and teamwork in every moment on the field.

Our defense was relentless, making routine plays look effortless and making some great plays. The pitching staff was lights out, holding opponents to a .221 batting average while our catchers shut down base runners with their stellar play behind the plate. Offensively, the team hit an incredible .362 as a unit, with three players batting over .500, one over .400, and three more above .300 for the weekend.

This tournamnet victory was the definition of a team win. Every player left it all on the field, playing with focus, supporting one another, and fighting for each other. From clutch hits to game-changing defensive plays, no single performance outshone the collective effort. This group’s mindset and camaraderie made all the difference.

We’re so proud of these players for showing up, stepping up, and defining what it means to be a team. Team wins are the best wins! 🏆💪

What a weekend for our 14U ladies! Demand Command Hadley went 3-1-1, battling through the heat to secure 2nd place in the A bracket of the USSSA 7th Annual Firecracker Spectacular. We showed flashes of our absolute best and saw areas where we need to get back to work. Consistency and determination has gotten them to this point. We will be back!

These girls fought hard this weekend, leaving blood, sweat, and tears on the field. Super proud of all of them but as usual there are a few notable performances for the weekend.

In the Circle:
Peyton Cook #11: 71% strikes, 78% first-pitch strikes
Alexis Bowling #55: 66% strikes, 68% first-pitch strikes
Avereigh Tyler #31: 61% strikes, 75% first-pitch strikes

At the Plate:
Savana Jackson #16: .500 BA
Avereigh Tyler #31: .500 BA
Gracie Collier #13: .444 BA
Alexis Bowling #55: .300 BA
Jojo Hatfield #8: Another home run to left-center in the championship game

Behind the Plate:
Maelyn Bowling caught all 18 innings in this heat sacrificing her at bats to stay behind the plate. She saved run after run and catching compliments from other coaches about every game.

Thank you to our families and fans for the support.

Pretty good weekend for these ladies. Going 4-1 for the weekend, we went 3-0 in pool, won the first bracket game and lost a tough 2nd game. These girls were stealing hits in the outfield the infield on defense and hitting .358 as a team for the weekend. 1 player hitting .500, 3 players over .400, and 3 over .300.

Peyton Cook hitting for a .500 average and putting on a defensive clinic at 2nd base. 2-3 diving plays, she owned the right side of the field.

Karmen Davis hitting for a .462 average and making big plays stealing hits in the outfield.

Gracie Collier with a .444 average and holding down the left side of the infield stealing a few hits herself.

Caidence Anderson with a .429 average and being a solid anchor in Center with 3 routine big fly catches and a great catch running in calling off both infielders.

3 other players hitting .333 were:
Alexi Sayles-Alexis Bowling-Avereigh Tyler

Jojo Hatfield earned a mention as well hitting a bomb the homeplate umpire intially called a home run but reversed his call for an unknown reason.

Everyone contributed, everyone left it all out there and this is gonna be an exciting group to watch for the rest of this season!!

The curse of Fall Jersey Friday’s is officially been defeated!

Outstanding start to the 7th Annual Tri-State Cup.

These ladies came ready to play after we finally got everyone back from School ball. Hit .400 as a team, great pitching, great defense. As coaches we are excited about the future of this team. They took a big step up in the spring and continued the momentum last night.

It’s mid tourney and we don’t want to pretend we already won but with the performances we seen there are so many we could recognize. Karmens pitching, Alexi catch in the outfield, Avereigh with a clutch read on a line drive, Peyton laying out for the ball at short, Savana solid 3b play…..

3 players we want to recognize for their play in last nights 8-7 nail biter against a great Aces team.

Jojo Hatfield with 2 bombs. Responsible for 4 of the 8 runs! Kid has found her timing and is going to have a great rest of the year!!!

Alexis Bowling holding a very good Aces team to 5 hits while battling in the rain with wet softballs, and a very high pressure final inning. Ending it with a big strikeout! Great work kid!!

Maelyn Bowling- Unfortunately your work doesn’t have a lot of stat lines to pull out and brag about. But you work behind the plate last night in that high pressure inning, saving run after run, be proud kid! We do not win that game without you part of the puzzle last night! Very nice work behind the dish!!

Stay hungry ladies we are back at it today hopefully minus the mud!!

These DC girls had a pretty good weekend. We ended up 3rd place, going 4-2-1. We outscored our opponents 64-32, kept pressure when on the bases with 29 total stolen bases. If our girls seen an opening we took it. 8 players hitting .300 or better with 11 XBHs(extra base hits, ie: doubles, triples, HRs)

Pitching staff held their own only surrendering 13 Earned runs in 7 games. Gotta clean up the defense but we had some flashes of where we want to be. Overall very proud of this group, they fought and were in every game this weekend, even if they decided to start scoring late in the game 😉

All that said with all the great plate performances to choose from, we will highlight the girls with .500 or better average for the weekend.

Alexis Bowling .667 led the team in hits(8) for the weekend and pitched very well.

Savana Jackson .500 hitter with a double and some key plays at 3rd base

Alexi Sayles .500 hitter with 8 Walks and led the team in Stolen bases (6)

Congrats to these 3 for leading the way this weekend. Love to see your hard work pay off for you.
