Divers Alert Network has established a fund to support the families of the Conception dive boat tragedy at Channel Islands.

"In an effort to help the families of the victims, DAN has donated $10,000 and established this page so that others who wish to donate to the families can do so knowing that 100% of their donations will go directly to the families in need.

All donations are tax-deductible. The funds collected will be distributed equally among the families of the victims. Families who lost more than one member will receive a share for each."

On September 2, 34 divers lost their lives when the liveaboard vessel Conception caught fire in California’s Channel Islands. This is the worst disaster in the history of recreational diving. Our hearts go out to all affected by this terrible tragedy.
