Voted Best Martial Arts School In Scotts Valley 2024!

A big THANK YOU to all the families who voted during “Scotts Valley’s Best Of Scotts Valley Reader’s Poll 2024”. Because of YOU and our amazing staff we were voted Best Martial Arts School in Scotts Valley! Check out the Press Banner which is going out today! I can’t thank you enough for your support of our school! We strive to do our best for you and all the students. We really do love what we do! I also want to give a big shout out to the wonderful staff who have made it possible to earn that honor: Mr. Fair, Mr. Ruvo, Mr. Boughton, Ms. Murray, and our AMAZING Head Instructor Ms. Franklin! They are all truly a blessing to work with and appreciate how they take pride in leading students to do their best. I am very happy for everyone and look forward to seeing everyone grow in their martial arts journey.

Are you ready for Testing Week? This martial artist is ready to go!

It’s Week 5 at the studio, and that means Testing Week! Testing will be held tomorrow (Wednesday) and Thursday this week. Please check in with your instructors with any questions. Good luck to everyone and see you on the mat.

Belt promotions will be held this SATURDAY at 4pm, please join us for black belt demonstrations, student promotions and a pot luck to follow. All are welcome!

We had so much fun taking photos of your martial artists yesterday, and we will be back at it today! Come visit the photo booth.

Student Photos! New this year, the studio is hosting free student photos TODAY (December 5th) for all classes. There is no sign up and no cost for this photo event, just drop by the photo booth! Please have your full uniform on. Photos will be delivered digitally and will be available for download a few days following the shoot.

Yesterday was a very special day in the studio as both Nid and Hunter earned their Junior Black Belts and Mr. Ruvo earned his 2nd Degree Black Belt. Fantastic performances by everyone, and well deserved advancement - we are so proud of you!

Please join them, and all other students receiving new belts, at a special promotion ceremony on December 16th at 4pm. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend. More details coming soon.

Join us at the studio today at 2pm for a special testing day. Two students, Nid Wilson and Hunter Prindle, will be testing for the Junior Black Belts and student and instructor, Mr. Ruvo, will be testing for his 2nd Degree Black Belt. All are welcome and encouraged to cheer on these students in their quest for the next level.
