Scott City Eye Center will be closed Friday afternoon, May 1st, from 12 pm - 5 pm. We are here to serve your needs Monday - Thursday, and Friday morning until 12 noon. And as always, we are open until 7 pm on Wednesday. Please stop by or call us if we may assist you - 620-872-0040.

Glasses..... with no prescription?..... that auto-adjust?..... and change their focal power?...... to meet your prescription?..... instantly?...... as soon as you put them on..... ??? Yeah, right, and our uncle is the Easter Bunny.

On this very special day of April 1st, also known as April Fool's Day, Scott City Eye Center encourages you to consider how important your vision is to you! No foolin'! It's very important! Just because we work for a reputable eye care professional doesn't mean we haven't seen the ads. We have. And, we've also seen the reviews. And honestly, we're not going to be fooled into thinking that anyone can put on a pair of those glasses and see well. We know what we know.

Scott City Eye Center will be closed all day Friday, April 3rd, 2026, to observe Good Friday. If you need our services this week, we will be open today, Wednesday, April 1st, until 7 pm, and Thursday, April 2nd, 8 am - 5 pm. Stop in or give us a call, if we can be of service to you!

Even though a day is set aside at the end of March to recognize doctors, we are grateful every day for the care and services provided for 27 years by Dr. Joshua Gooden. He might tell us to "skip it," since technically, the official day was yesterday, March 30th. But his team and the community are thankful to you, Dr. Gooden, for all you do to provide excellent eye and vision health care to so many throughout western Kansas.

Happy Doctor's Day, Dr. Gooden. And thank you!
