People keep asking me if our
Fitness Certification is competition against . The answers is and always will be, “no”. TPI is great and has lots of very usable information. Ours looks at things through a slightly different lens and is very complementary to theirs.

Here is a nice testimonial from someone who has done both. Remember, none of us has all the answers, and you can always get better, by learning more.

What an NHL season it has been. I could not me more proud of my hockey guys. Tonight will be our 3rd player to make his NHL debut this season. Besides being a super hard working, coachable great athlete, Marc is one if the best humans you will ever meet. He is the type of person as a parent, you hope your child can turn out like. I could not be more thrilled for him and his family. It has been my absolute honor to work with him for the last 5 years.

Not too bad for a small gym in NJ and guy most would consider a golf guy.

Could not be more thrilled to see my guy go wire to wire to get his first career win against a very solid field that included the likes of Justin Rose and John Rahm. He made a commitment to work harder and made invested in his team to get to the next level, and now has seen the results.

Pretty nice facility here in France for the Open de France. This facility is right in the range and where the French Junior National Team lives, trains, practices and goes to school.

Today is an end of an era. It is with extreme mixed emotions to let you all know that after 23 years I sold my gym building and will be closing Athletic Edge today. I had my final session last Friday with this amazing group of hockey players, and could not think of a better group to finish this off with. Intellectually it is 100% the right time to do this, but emotionally it has been very hard. This place has been my home when not on the road traveling, and the people here my family.

I want to thank all the my employees over the years for all of their hard work and the clients, families and athletes that put their faith and trust in us to help them chase and achieve their goals. I have had the honor to have had professional athletes of every major sport, Olympian’s, youth athletes and adults pursuing better health and golf games. Each and every one of those groups have taught me many lessons and have helped make me the coach I am today. Most importantly I want to thank my wife/business partner for all of her incredible contributions to this journey which would never have been possible without her.

Many tears have been shed this week as I think back on my time here and all of the incredible relationships I have built. The calls, comments and love people have been showing me is amazing. While this is the end for AE, it is also an exiting new beginning.

I will traveling more on the PGA Tour this upcoming year, and getting an apartment in Florida to have more time with my players. I have a bunch of new projects in the works as well as more time now to put into our Golf Digest Certified Fitness Trainers project. It is the right time for the next phase of my life.

Lots of people clients, and trainers I would love to thank personally, but don’t want to forget anyone on here, but I am sure most of you know who you are. I will reach out personally to say thanks. I appreciate everyone’s support over the last 23 years. While this is extremely hard emotionally, it was my decision, not being forced to sell or anything, just ready for a new phase of my life. Thank you all!!

Huge congrats to my boy on being drafted. Great kid with a lot of determination and drive. Couldn’t be more proud. That is 4 players drafted in the last 5 years for a small gym in NJ!

Love getting DM’s like this from PT’s who deal w peoples golf injuries and pain on a day to day basis about our new Golf Digest Fitness Certification. FYI; if you are a Golf Professional I think you will learn a lot and find it valuable as well.
