🎯 2026 Cayuga Lake Trap League — All Shooters Welcome!

Six weeks of trap, 50 targets a week, across six local clubs: Dryden, Lansing, Newfield, Tompkins Co., Trumansburg, and Groton.

📅 Schedule (shoot either day each week):
Wk 1 – Groton: Tues 9/22 or Sun 9/27
Wk 2 – Tompkins Co.: Wed 9/30 or Sun 10/4
Wk 3 – Newfield: Tues 10/6 or Sun 10/11
Wk 4 – Dryden: Thurs 10/15 or Sun 10/18
Wk 5 – Trumansburg: Thurs 10/22 or Sun 10/25
Wk 6 – Lansing: Mon 10/26 or Sun 11/1

🕘 Sign-up: Sundays 9 AM–12 Noon | Weekdays 4–7 PM

💵 Cost: $15/week ($12 targets + $3 prize fee). Juniors under 18: $9/week.

A few things to know:
• Must shoot one of the first two weeks to join
• At least 5 shoots to qualify for the shoot-off
• Shoot your league targets before any practice on your scoring day

🏆 Prizes: High Gun, Lady High Gun, Junior High Gun, Senior Veteran High Gun, and Individual Club High Gun — all based on total targets broken over the six weeks. No attendance requirement for High Gun trophies.

50-Target Shoot-Off: Sunday, Nov 8 at Dryden Fish & Game Club — signup 8 AM–12 Noon.

Heads up, deer hunters — New York made some big rule changes for the 2026–27 season, including new antlered/antlerless tag rules and the new Earn-a-2nd-Buck system. Worth a read before opening day. 🦌

SPORTING CLAYS LEAGUE — Starts This Thursday!

Our Thursday-night Sporting Clays League kicks off Thursday, July 30 at Salmon Creek Sportsmen’s Club. Five weeks of clays under the summer sky — come join us!

How it works:
• 50 targets each week, 5 weeks
• Your lowest week gets dropped
• Can’t make a Thursday? Shoot ahead or make it up — we’ll work with you

Cost:
• $35 at first sign-up ($20 targets + $15 toward the Lewis purse)
• $20/week after that

We start at 4 PM and shoot till everyone’s done. Shooters of every skill level are welcome — bring your gun and shells and come have some fun. Just show this Thursday afternoon to sign up.
