Last post for this season is a bitter sweet one as these former STB players have graduated. We got the privilege to coach these kids during the start of our tournament ball days as Average Joes. For just eighth graders at the time they knew one thing for sure and that was they wanted to play basketball. From the trips to Washington where they drank a 12 pack of cream soda in an hour and a half to playing in Las Vegas. After five years some played for other teams and some moved onto other sports it was truly a gift to see these kids grow in and outside of basketball. We wish you nothing but the best in your next adventures in life.

Last two games to wrap up the season and boy were they good ones. First game the kids did what needed to be done to pull off the win. 85-23. Championship game we knew would be probably the toughest of the weekend. Despite having a slight height difference these kids hustled til the end of overtime to come out on top! 64-62. Thank you to our kids we ended the season with. It wasn’t a smooth one by far but no matter the circumstances they overcame them. Also thank you to the parents who came to any of our games to cheer us on, or do score we truly appreciate it!

Two games yesterday morning and while it was the first game of the day, one advantage this team has is the ability to run and gun no matter the time of day. First game we pulled away pretty early and just ran our game til the end. 65-47. Second game after a break we came out really hot scoring nearly 50 in the first half ending with the win. 80-32. Last two games today competing for the championship!

Two games this weekend first one we started off a bit slow, with shots not falling but ultimately pulled away a little bit in the fourth to get the win. 67-62. Second game we started off real hot and running, which got a little gassed in the second but nonetheless walked away with the win. 82-49.

Two games this evening and despite the hotter weather, these kids knew what needed to be done to win the tournament. First game came out running and hustling on defense to get us into the championship. 67-47. Championship game we were not hitting shot first quarter, second quarter was able to bring it back within one and then after that we just took of winning the tournament. 67-54.
