A full life is a gift. A career in golf is a privilege. Having my story told is a humbling honour. My heart is full—full of gratitude for those who brought this documentary to life and full of love for the people who made the journey so extraordinary.

You start out just wanting to win that first tournament. Then one day, you look back and realize the journey of a champion became something far greater than trophies or titles.

This is my story… of how a young boy from Africa dared to conquer the world.

Last week our wonderful Gary & Vivienne Player Invitational took place at Sun City. Looking back at the highlights brings me great joy in knowing that we have such generous friends and family who continue to support our worthy cause and makes such a meaningful difference in the lives of our young children in South Africa. What a privilege to be back here with so many friends. I use the word privilege, because that’s exactly what it is for me. To have this opportunity once a year where we can come together for such a good cause is extremely special. We have actually become so much more than friends. We are now family. A family in golf, and in this tournament.
