Time to wipe the dust off the page with a flashback 55 years to the 1971 PIAA track and field championships held at what is now West Shore Home Field At Beaver Stadium, with a cameo quote from Coach Paterno!

Start 2026 off with a trip way back in time, newspaper mentions long before his Call writing days. Off to the military, then speaking about experience after. In 2025 much talk in the NFL was about how easy the field goal has become and how to make it harder, 80 years ago PVC wanted to box the goalposts, and it got mentions in Harrisburg and Sunbury papers. And PVC goes to a venison roast.
