We welcomed this handsome hunk into training today! Ace is a double registered aqha apha gelding in for some training. He has been very lightly started under saddle and we are excited to further his knowledge for his owners! His “siblings” are suede and Goose who are also here with us! We love when owners trust us with their babies!

Blue roan Tennessee walking mare (can be registered)

Meet your next trail partner! Ella will go out alone or in a group. She has beautiful gaits and holds herself well in the gait. Drop the reins and go! She has a slow enough walk you can ride with non gaited horses and not leave them in the dust! She leads, follows or will go in the middle. Ella isnt spooky or reactive. Goes through water, over tarps, and bridges. She has solid wtc and AMAZING breaks. Ride her western, take her ba****ck, ride her english. She doesnt care. She plants the b***y down when stopping. She stands tied, good for bathing and grooming, loads right up in the trailer. This girl has beauty and brains. Shes safe, calm, quiet. UTD on everything, barefoot, no vices, no kick, bolt, rear or buck. No maintenance. Easy keeper. Young enough you could take her any direction.

Who is looking for a handy pony for youth?! This is your guy!

Sneak peek of monkey who’s gonna hit the market soon. This guy has spent the last few months learning the pole and barrel pattern. He’s just a hair under 13.3 hands and is ready for a handy kid who wants a step up pony. You can swing a rope off of him and he tracks a dummy. He’s super easy to be around and loves his job. Perfect little britches type pony for a handy type kid. He’s got speed.

At this time, I am personally managing all aspects of the barn’s daily operations, including horse care, training, lessons, and facility maintenance. With a full barn and a busy training and lesson schedule, my priority is my current horses and clients in my program.

As a result, there may be occasional delays in responding to messages, calls, and inquiries. I appreciate your patience and understanding and will respond as soon as my schedule allows.

A special thank you and huge shout out to those who have helped with filling waters, mucking stalls, small barn tasks, or staying late so theres eyes on me while I work risky horses. I have an amazing group of people and horses that surround me!

Thank you❤️

HUGE shout out to Bri and her amazing team for a quick, easy seamless sale and matching owner and horse up so well and for putting Teddy through all the paces and making sure he was a safe reliable mount. At Barefoot Farms, we have a zero-tolerance policy for bullying, harassment, poor sportsmanship, gossip, intimidation, or disrespect, whether it's directed at people or horses.

This barn is a safe space.

I don't want to feel uncomfortable in my own barn, and I don't want anyone else to either.

Cheering for someone's success costs nothing.
Encouraging someone who's struggling costs nothing.
Being kind costs nothing.

We all started somewhere. Every rider has had bad rides. Every horse has had bad days. Every person here deserves to learn, grow, and enjoy being around horses without fear of being judged, ridiculed, or targeted.

And let's talk about the horses.

Poor sportsmanship doesn't just apply to people. It applies to how we treat our horses too.

Forcing a horse beyond its abilities, punishing a horse for confusion, getting after a horse because they're struggling, has no place here.

If you are unable to contribute positively to the environment we are creating, this may not be the place for you.

Any bullying, harassment, disrespectful behavior, poor sportsmanship, or conduct that negatively impacts the safety and well-being of our horses, riders, clients, or barn community may result in being asked to leave the facility and/or program.

No exceptions.

Because protecting the culture of this barn is more important than keeping toxic behavior around. At the end of the day, we're all here because we love horses.

Let's act like it.

One of the things I never expected when I became a horse trainer was how much of life happens in the saddle.

Over the years, I’ve celebrated first rides, gaining confidence, finding love for the sport, new horses, over coming fear, and so many exciting milestones with my clients.

I’ve also been there for the hard talks, the selling of your horse, and the loss of our equine friends.

Yes, I love teaching and riding. But what means the most to me are the relationships built along the way, both horse and human.

The trust you place in me, the conversations we share, and the fact that so many of you continue choosing to spend a small part of your life sitting in the saddle or the barn with me.

If you’ve ever rode with me, thank you. 🤍
