Today sure makes us think about racing doesn't it?!
It's been a long winter and off season!

Some points I wanted to let everyone in on for 2026:

- At this point our only on track time will be for the Fall Series races. I would like to possibly get a test and tune in before we race, but with my commitments with RFR and the kids racing, it will be challenging.
- I have some improvements I want to get down before we race this year. As time allows during the spring and summer, I will start working on those projects. I'm planning on working on the track quite a bit after August.
- REMINDER: We are XBP "sanctioned" and go by the full set of XBP rules, with the only deviation being we allow an open rear gear.
- The Choose Cone will be implemented at all the races starting in 2026. The rules will be amended to reflect the XBP rules and the choose cone. Any other rules tweaks will be changed and announced here.
- I would like to get some cool trophies, plaques, etc (suggestions welcome!) for our racers this year. Both individual race winners and an overall Fall Series Champion award. If anyone wants to sponsor awards, or help sponsor awards for the racers, please let me know. My goal is to give a little back in recognition and thanks for those that choose to race here. As always, racing and admission will always be free (unless we do a charity event).
- Due to the very cool growth we saw last fall, I am looking to get some more staff on hand for our events.
At this point I'm looking to fill rules of: Corner flaggers (2), Pit steward/lineups (1), Scorers/helping to make sure lineups are correct after w caution (ideally 2).

The Veterans Day Salute will now be 150 laps and we're going to finish out the 2026 season and Fall Series with a BANG, as The Gobbler will now be 250 laps!

‼️2026 RULES UPDATE‼️

Starting in 2026 we will be following the XTreme Budget Predator Karts rules package.
The ONLY EXCEPTION being an OPEN REAR GEAR, all other XBP rules must be abided by.

Flag stand and the rest of the equipment is put away for the winter.
In my efforts to always improve the track and the racing here, I did start on next year's improvements already.
Laid some clay down in turns 1 and 2 to sit, settle and bind with the base over the winter.
Look for some posts later today regarding updates and scheduling for 2026!
