Clean, condition and re-lace of a friend’s old Mizuno first base mitt.

Quick clean, condition and relace of one of our Texas Fusion Baseball Club 14u guys’ gamer after a lace busted on him today.

A couple hours of work with BallPlayersBalm and new laces and this glove is ready to go today!

I really like the tack the game ready conditioner leaves in the palm.

I don’t recommend relaxing a glove during the season unless a full restore is in order. Grant’s lacing is good enough to last the rest of fall but I wanted to tryout BallPlayersBalm pro glove conditioner. His glove has some games under its belt and could use a bit of conditioner to keep the leather supple.
I’ll let this dry over night and apply some gamer ready to the pocket for some extra tack.

I’m really excited to see what this stuff can do.

Next up is a great friend’s glove that means the world to him. It’s been his “Coach Dad” glove and is filled with countless, priceless memories.

In addition to the standard clean, condition and relace, im going to see if I can get some good shape in this glove.

Before and after pics of a cleaning, conditioning and re-lace of an A2000 gamer. 1/4” laces were very thick so i decided single pass runs on the Xs at the web base should hold up. If not, I’ll relace with 3/16” lacing.

I’m very grateful for the opportunity to prep this glove for the rest of fall ball and beyond. Go get ‘em Colton!!
