Nice write up on Robert Garrigus' improvement on the greens and how he's climbed the rankings from 185 to 102 this season since switching to a Cure CX1 in May.
ROBERT GARRIGUS ... Quite simply, since a T28 at the Wells Fargo Championship, he’s been on a mild tear with his game on the greens, shedding more than one stroke off his strokes gained: putting value. The epiphany has resulted in four top-11 finishes and a pair of T22s in just his last nine starts. At 102nd in the FedExCup standings, he’s a gimme to advance with the baseline assumption that his current average output extends another week, but at Bethpage, his power could do more damage than shore up a spot in the field at TPC Boston. Fittingly, the 38-year-old who was flirting with the top-200 bubble four months ago leads the PGA TOUR in the bounce-back stat.
