Union College Men's and Women's Tennis

On Sunday, we graduated our lone senior on the men’s team, Christian Crowder. Christian walked-on to the team as a freshman and recently graduated with a Sociology degree while completing the Pre-Med track. During his time on the team, the squad qualified for two Liberty League playoffs, including reaching the semifinals this May for the first time since 2005. They also finished a program-high #55 in the nation.

A HUGE congrats to Skylar Semon ’26 for being named the Intercollegiate Tennis Association - ITA Division III Northeast Region Arthur Ashe Leadership & Sportsmanship Award winner! She is one of four regional recipients from across the country out of approximately 330 Division III programs that sponsor Women’s Tennis. Congratulations Skylar!!

Want to congratulate David Bond ’21 on receiving the Outstanding Mechanical Engineering Alumni Silver Award this evening to kick off ReUnion Weekend! David was a 5-year member of the tennis team and 2-year captain. In addition to his Mechanical Engineering major, he double-minored in Computer Science and Economics. David currently works at Synchrony Magnetic Bearings and resides in Roanoke, VA.
