Closing a chapter. 🥋

After five years as Social Media Manager for the European Judo Union, it’s time for a new chapter.

I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work within a sport that has shaped so much of my life. Going from competing on the tatami to helping tell the stories of our athletes, coaches, and events has been a unique experience and one I will alway remember!

Over the years, I had the chance to work at European Championship, and countless cadet, junior, kata, veteran, and adapted judo competitions. I traveled across Europe, experienced new countries and met amazing people, and witnessed some unforgettable judo and moments in our sport.

Thank you to everyone at the EJU and throughout the judo community for the support, friendships, and memories over the last five years.

This is not goodbye to judo. As I shift my focus toward other projects and new opportunities, I look forward to staying involved in the sport that has given me so much.

See you around the tatami. ❤️🥋

These days our all-inclusive resort includes a 5-year-old, a newborn, a messy house, diaper changes, and 3am wake ups!

Ready for another tropical beach vacation anytime, 🙏😁

Started taking these photos at 6 weeks pregnant

I tried to take photos every couple of weeks, but towards the end I either forgot or completely lost motivation 😂 But it’s still amazing to see the transformation 🤰

Now that I’m 7 weeks postpartum, I thought I’d share this.

Not because I’m trying to “bounce back” or show off how I look. That’s not really the point.

I gained 16kg during this pregnancy, and as someone who has been fit and involved in sports for pretty much my entire life, it’s really hard to see the changes. There are definitely moments when I don’t feel like myself.

But I also love a new challenge.

Right now, that challenge is getting strong again, building my fitness back up, and figuring out what this new version of me is capable of. Will I run a marathon? Become a cyclist ? Compete in HyroX? Judo?

When I look at these photos, I’m proud of this body. It carried and delivered two babies!!!

Found this old 3 minute vlog from summer 2020 (don’t worry I cut it down so you don’t fall asleep 😂)

Peak COVID times, no competitions, no pressure, pre-babies… and honestly I think I was the strongest and fittest I’ve ever been.

Looking back, I was just having SO much fun with judo. No stressing about qualifying, no obsessing over results… just training hard, getting stronger, and just having a good time.

Also lowkey missing Hannover and all the fun we used to have during those morning gym sessions 🥲

6 weeks postpartum and we’re slowly finding the balance 😂

A little softer.A little tireder.But still showing up. 💪

Right now the goal isn’t perfection… it’s just doing a little more than yesterday and taking advantage of the downtime while the baby naps 😅🤍

That’s why I pay for 1TB of storage…

So worth it! ❤️

A little motivation to get ‘back to business” after having my second baby (16 days ago) 😈

You don’t get enough credit, but thank you for being my rock. Grateful for you and ready to take on 2026 together. 🤍
