What a weekend for our 2008 EA team at the EA National Championship in St. Louis! 🏆⚽
The 08s made their third and final appearance at Nationals and put together an incredible run. After finishing 2nd in group play, they earned enough points to advance to the knockout rounds.
Following reseeding, the 08s entered as the #8 seed and faced the tournament’s #1 seed. At the final whistle, they had completed the upset and secured their spot in the semifinals.
The semifinal match saw the 08s strike early, forcing their opponents to chase the game. A late goal in the closing minutes sealed a 2-0 victory and punched their ticket to the National Championship Final.
In the final against Albion Santa Ana, the 08s conceded an early goal but never stopped battling. They continued to create chances and pushed until the very last seconds, coming agonizingly close to finding an equalizer. Unfortunately, the goal never came.
While the championship result wasn’t what we hoped for, we could not be prouder of this group. Their determination, resilience, and commitment were on full display all weekend long.
Congratulations on an outstanding National Championship run and an unforgettable finish to your youth soccer journey. ❤️🖤

🏆⚽️ The 2010 Boys EA team recently traveled to St. Louis to compete for the EA National Championship.
The boys opened group play with a hard-fought 2-1 victory, showing the determination and quality that got them to this stage. In their second match, they suffered a heartbreaking 2-1 loss to the eventual National Champions, battling until the final whistle. Needing a win in their final group-stage match to advance, the team left everything on the field and earned a 0-0 draw, bringing their championship run to an end.
While the result wasn’t what they hoped for, this group represented our club with pride, resilience, and class throughout the tournament. Competing against the nation’s best and reaching the National Championship stage is an incredible accomplishment.
