Over the weekend, the team traveled to Brittany Shooting Park in Bunker Hill, Illinois for the Illinois State High School Clay Target League 2026 Tournament. Hunter and Jonathan W each shot 25 straight during the tournament and received patches.
Scales Mound received a plaque for second place Class 2A Conference 1. Hunter received a medal for placing second out of 203 shooters in our conference and also received the all state patch for being in the top 50 overall. Everyone had fun!

Hunter, Graham, Weston, Adyn, and Jonathan W will be moving onto the national championship in Mason, Michigan in July. They will compete as a team and as individuals. Jaxon, Ian, and Lucas will also be competing as individuals and rooting on their team.

Hunter and Adyn with another 25 straight! Johnny R joined their photo before he left trap to join his classmates at the 2026 graduation ceremony. After a couple years of staying determined and shooting as often as she could, McKenna got her first 25 straight and did so in the rain! Congratulations to all!
