Final count of runners for our first Saxonburg 5k was 293 bringing in about $7,000 for the Knoch track & field & cross country teams.

🎉Big news we are up 263 runners so far!

👉Reminder packet pick up tonight, Friday, from 5:15 to 6:30 at new life church. OR Saturday morning at 7:30am at roebling park under the bridge by the gazebo.

🚙 Parking
The race will start/finish at Roebling Park. There is plenty of parking near the start/finish line for the race. Parking is available at:

👉Saxonburg Museum 147 N. Rebecca St, Saxonburg, PA
👉Abella Enterprises - empty lot across the street from the museum
👉Saxonburg Presbyterian Church - large lot behind the church, use Rebecca St entrance

✅ NOTE: the roads surrounding these parking lots will be closing at 845am and will not re-open until 10am. If you arrive late or need to leave before 10am please park along Main St or elsewhere in town. Remote parking is also available at Believe-N-U Fitness 435 W Main St. (approx. 0.5 mile from the start).

❌Please do NOT park in the Sprankle's parking lot (Water St) or To The Limit Motorsportz lot (Isabella St) so their customers may use those spaces.

The Truthahntrab is less than a week away and we wanted to provide you with some info as we get closer.

PACKET PICKUP - Want to get a little extra sleep Saturday morning? You can pickup your packet (bib/shirt/and other goodies) Friday evening (530-630pm) at New Life Christian Ministries 139 Knoch Rd, Saxonburg, PA 16056.

PARKING - There is plenty of convenient parking near the start/finish of the race. Parking map is here. Please note that due to road closures for the race, the lots near the start/finish will be closed from 845-10am.

AWARDS - The awards are in and they look great. Thanks to Speckled Hen Chocolate the team and individual winners will also be receiving a custom chocolate creation to go along with their trophies. Take a look.

COURSE - We made a small change this year to the start of the course. The updated course is a pure out-and-back. It will start with a short loop through town before heading to the farm. It will return the same way. See the updated map here.

LATE REGISTRATION - Have a friend that wants to join? Online registration will remain open until noon on Friday. After that you can still register in person at either packet pickup or at the registration table the morning of the race.

PARADE - The night before the race the Saxonburg Area Business Association will be hosting the Annual Holiday Parade on Main St from 7-9 Friday evening, Nov. 24th.

Thanks for all of your support. This event is the primary fundraiser for the Knoch Cross Country and Track programs and will benefit all of the athletes. We look forward to seeing you Saturday.

Age groups are 0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70&up

👉A team champion and runner-up will each receive a trophy. (Teams score based on total time of top 3 runners; no gender requirements)
