I didn't make my J1 goal for getting a 6 pack by Jan 1st. I only got a 4 and lost some inches. But its ok. I need more consistency. In 4 months I'll be 48 years old. I've birth 4 children, 3 via C-sect. Im determined to change the narrative of what seems to become a woman's norm after giving birth. Especially, after having a C-sect. We loose strength, our ab muscles separate, we loose elasticity in our skin, and the stubborn pouch geesh. Lol. I've been training for core strength for years and making sure I care for those muscles because having a strong core supports so much of your body, balance, back, posture, and movements. I literally use my core to do everything. I dont just want the outter appearance, I want the strength. As women age, our muscle strength declines due to loss of muscle, as well as hormonal changes. So on my journey, yes I aim to look good, but more than looking good, I want to be strong and healthy.
