Meanwhile, in my healing era… 🥹🧡

Life has been LIFE-ING lately, and I’ve been doing my best to keep showing up with a smile. Then somebody showed up with lunch and a few little treats. It wasn’t just the food. It was the reminder that I’m not alone. Sometimes being thought of is enough to make the heavy feel a little lighter. 🫶🏾

Healing is also learning to receive the love/help people give you. 🧡

Meanwhile, in my healing era…

2 years since my divorce, and this chapter looks nothing like I thought it would.

Two years of unlearning. Rebuilding. Forgiving. Rediscovering myself. Learning that some endings don’t mean you failed, sometimes they’re the beginning of finally finding you again.

I’m not the woman I was two years ago. I don’t even want to be. I’m softer in some places, stronger in others, and a whole lot more protective of my peace.

I’m not mourning what ended. I’m grateful for the woman who kept going after it did! Meanwhile… I’m still healing, still growing, and finally enjoying the view. 🥹😭❤️‍🩹
