This week we look at the work of African American artist Fredrick Brown. I loved how this display worked out. The kids had free range to draw what they might see out their windows. I’ve added some close shots so you can enjoy their outlooks.

The best thing about working out of the Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art is that we have a world class collection to take inspiration from. John Himmelfarb is an amazing artist who liked to spontaneously make marks using forms and text. His pictures are made up of a million little things. We used Indian ink, bamboo pens and turkey feather quills to create our pieces.

Congratulations to Year 12 student, Emma C, who has been accepted into the Yale Youth Scholars' programme in Politics, Law and Economics.

Under normal circumstances, this would mean a placement at Yale University in America during July but this year the course will run online over two weeks (mostly in the school holidays).
