While we aren't organizing youth fall ball this year, the extra downtime gives us the perfect window to make some much-needed field upgrades. We're using this time to get the grounds ready for upcoming fall community activities and build a better foundation for next summer.

We’re digging down, setting, and pouring fresh concrete for new base anchors so every base stays level and secure. We’re also setting layout whiskers along the baseline to mark key locations, making future measuring, lining, and field setup easier than ever.

As part of Savannah's 250th Celebration of America, some of the community's more seasoned players stepped onto the field and proved that you never really outgrow the game.

From the first pitch to the final out, there were plenty of laughs, smiles, and maybe even a little competition mixed in. We're pretty sure we didn't see a single player leave the field without having a good time.

Because that's what the ball field is all about—bringing people together, making memories, and having fun. 💚

Glad to everyone who came out and played! We hope to see you back at the fields again soon! 🥎🇺🇸

Big things are happening at the Savannah Ball Fields this weekend! We’re celebrating America’s 250th with our nation’s favorite pastime.

With a fresh coat of paint on the dugouts and work under way along the fence line, the transformation is well in motion. We’re not finished, but every step is making a huge difference! 🛠️🎨

A massive shoutout to Ervin Yoder for putting in the work—getting after those weeds around the fences and tackling extra field maintenance to keep us moving forward! 🙌

We still have more to do, but it’s looking better every single day.

Progress made!

Huge thanks to today’s volunteers for helping us push things forward.

The concessions, restrooms, and equipment spaces are definitely turning a corner, and we're making great headway getting the dugouts prepped for paint. There is still plenty of work left to tackle around the park, so we hope to see even more of our community next time! 💚⚾

Can you spare an hour or two this weekend? 🇺🇸⚾

The upcoming July 25th event is a huge milestone celebrating 250 years of America, and we want our hometown fields to reflect that spirit. We’ve built something great here, but it takes a village to make it even better.

If you are available this Saturday morning at 9:00 AM, come out to the Savannah's ball fields and pitch in. Whether you can stay for just an hour or the whole morning, every bit of help makes a massive difference.

Here is the game plan:

- W**d Eating (Around fences & dugouts)
- Field Maintenance (Raking & general prep)
- Bathroom Clean Up
- Trash Pickup (Entire grounds)
- Painting Dugouts

Let’s team up, protect these fields for the generations to come, and do this for our community, by our community!

No matter who's on the field, they deserve a championship atmosphere. ⚾🏆

Today it's the 10U Boys Hillsdale Teams, and we're proud to have our fields looking prepped and ready. From the freshly groomed infield to the packed stands and families cheering from every angle, we're committed to making every game feel like a big game.

Thank you to everyone who helps keep these fields game-day ready!

After a very successful first week of games for Savannah Youth League, one of our amazing coaches, Cam Estep, took some amazing aerial photos and videos of the ball park in full swing last evening. The fields were full. Our board members and coaches showed up this week to help bring Savannah full circle. Amazing turn out! Thank you all for showing up and helping make what seemed like an impossible task this year start off with a bang. From the fans, to the concession stand workers, to our amazing grounds keeper, (our yards looks amazing considering how wet it’s been thanks to Jonathan Martin), to our sponsors and Jim Jamison for doing an amazing job with the Unstoppable league and jumping in to help anywhere you can, Teyana and Josh Johnson for the amazing things you do, Cam Estep for always showing up. Tyler, Leann and Paul for always showing up. Brandon for doing an amazing job with the umpires. And many more I’m missing. It truly takes a village to pull something like this off. Thank you! You are all amazing!!
