No surprises, there were some very moving tributes at the memorial service for Peggy Noon, earlier this week. Peggy was your archetypal pistol packing mama, five foot of spirited matriarch with a big heart and a ‘can do’ attitude that cut through the bu****it like a hot knife through butter.
As was evident from the turn out, The Pegasus Riding Academy had a huge impact on a lot of families in Chatham and surrounding counties, and the Avondale neighborhood has lost something magical. The school provided therapy riding experiences for children and young adults on the edge of the societal living spectrum.
She, her spirit, the horses and her school will be deeply missed by many.
Ride in Peace Peggi Noon. You will not be forgotten.
