South Metro Authentic Ancient Arts South Metro Authentic Ancient Arts (AAA) promotes the study of martial arts in the traditional manner that dates back several generations.

We provide training in Shorin Ryu Karate and Okinawan Kobudo. Our Shorin Ryu style is called Kobayashi and comes to us from Okinawa with roots in the Shaolin Temple in China. AAA is affiliated with the worldwide program founded by Hanshi Shuguro Nakazato, 10th dan and now presided over by Minoru Nakazato, 10th dan, his son and head of the Shorinkan Karate Association based in Okinawa. udo is a weapon system developed using farming and fishing implements. Okinawa Kobudo has been handed down by the late Matayoshi Shinpo Sensei, who was considered the highest authority on Okinawan weapons in the world. We are affiliated with the Okinawa Kobudo Dousi Rensei-kai (OKDR), Sensei Stolsmark 8th dan is the president of the OKDR.
