Meet Berit!!! Berit is our new instructor for Fall 2025. She’ll be around the studio for the summer session to meet our dancers and families, so make sure to stop and say ‘HI!’ we are SO happy to have you as part of our dance family!!!

“My name is Berit I’m originally from Greenville South Carolina, and have just recently moved to the Newport area! I was stationed here by the US Navy and am currently a Corpsman at the King Hall Clinic!

I started dance when I was 3 years old. I’ve danced ever since I was little, mainly at Legacy Dance Company in South Carolina! When I was younger I was always eager to help my dance teachers assist younger aged classes and eventually was old enough and skilled enough to be a teacher myself. I love learning each style of dance; particularly jazz and contemporary! Those are also my favorite styles to teach. I’m excited to see kids learn new styles of dance and be creative with their own personalities! “
