It's water testing day on the Esoous Creek! We participate in Riverkeeper's water testing program all summer. Check it out at riverkeeper.org and you can see how the water checks out.

Today was Riverkeeper Sweep and Saugerties showed up! Our Saugerties team of 24 volunteers removed over 400 lbs of garbage from our Saugerties shoreline by kayak and The Saugerties Lighthouse removed over 300 lbs. on foot and planted 125 seedlings!

Thank you to all of the amazing volunteers and Patrick and Anna at Saugerties Lighthouse for being the best partners in this event. Also a big thanks to the Village who always says Yes when asked for a dumpster.

Riverkeeper Sweep is the biggest volunteer effort to clean the Hudson River where thousands of volunteers in 100 projects between NYC and the Adirondacks show up to clean up the Hudson River.
