I love teaching. I’ve been a coach, a high school English teacher, and now … a yoga instructor. Teaching yoga feels like coming home — coming home to my best self while sharing all that’s possible with other. My certification is through Kia Miller and Radiant Body Yoga (RBY). RBY is a holistic approach to yoga that offers a potent combination of physical posture, breath work, kriyas meditation, an

d chanting. All of this increases strength, builds vitality, and creates mental clarity. It’s a practice of opening the mind and the heart to the vibration of truth and resonating from that place, so all thoughts and actions are in alignment with our self. What we seek, we already have within us. RBY serves practitioners and teachers at every level of experience. For the beginner it provides a complete picture and powerful pathway to personal development. For the seasoned practitioner it offers an advanced users manual for the mind body system.

This photo was taken almost exactly 6 years ago.
In 2018, I decided to go for it and and have Saturday morning yoga at the Saugatuck Yacht Club amidst the storm.
This time, I'm opting to nestle in at home. Stay warm . . . and enjoy the opportunity to hibernate! See you on the mat next week.

No foolin', it's almost April! Thankfully, Saturday morning yoga at the Saugatuck Yacht Club continues. Join us; it truly is special.

Please bring your own mat. Reminder: NO CLASS on Saturday, April 16 due to a scheduling conflict with SYC. ALL are welcome. No membership or pre-registration required.

I am SO excited for this event! Get ready for an incredible yoga class, some festive fun, and an opportunity to support these amazing kids.

Join me at the Saugatuck Yacht Club this Saturday, December 18 @ 9:00 A.M. We'll do an hour of movement, breath, and meditation to a special holiday yoga playlist (thank you, DJ Mike Shaw!) Then, we'll raise a glass of cheer . . . yogis choice: Pennyroyal's famous oat-milk chai or a freshly poured mimosa!

100% of proceeds will be donated to the Interact Club's Playground Project in Batey 106, Dominican Republic. Twenty-one Saugatuck High School students will be traveling to the Dominican Republic in January to help build this playground, and the project budget can use our help!

If you are unable to attend Saturday's class but would still like to contribute to the cause, amazing! The link to the Go Fund Me page will be in the comments.

Today's temperatures + sunshine don't really feel like December in Michigan, but here we are! As we head into holiday season, please remember to take care of what's most important. YOU!

Make a commitment to yourself this season. Join me every Saturday for an hour of breath, movement, and meditation at the Saugatuck Yacht Club. No matter the weather outside, the clubhouse is always warm, spacious, and sparkling.

I can't wait to see you tomorrow morning at the Saugatuck Yacht Club! It's such a special place to practice, and a Saturday morning class is a fantastic way to set the tone for your weekend. See you there!

This may not be the typical "island getaway," but for me? Beaver Island has been magical! Yesterday, we explored the southern end of the island. We hiked and biked for miles, climbed the wrought iron stairs of a lighthouse, stopped in our tracks riveted by a barred owl, paused on top of the "World's Largest Pebble," caught a glimpse of a huge coyote, and stood in awe of Michigan's Largest? Birch tree. Last night, we read more of the Island's history and cooked a delicious dinner. This morning's sunrise was amazing, and now it's time to get out there for today's adventure! Thank you to those filling in for us while we take a few days away to rejuvenate!
