Anytime a child is near water, active adult supervision is the most important safety layer you can provide. π
Here's what that actually looks like in practice:
1. Stay within arm's reach of young or non-swimming children
2. Put the phone down and keep your eyes on the water
3. Designate one adult as the dedicated watcher when a group is present
4. Never assume another adult is watching
Swim lessons build skills and confidence, but supervision is always step one. Keep it a non-negotiable habit this season and every season. π§
