The SKA Saratoga Dojo participated in the practices and celebrations for the 25th Anniversary of the Shotokan Ohshima Dojo and the 95th Birthday of Ohshima Sensei. It was a honor and a privilege to share this time with fellow karatekas from all over the World.

Three members of our dojo and more than 20 fierce friends from other dojos in the Bay Area traveled together to and participated in another intense Special Training in Southern California. Great comradery and strong feeling as usual, with a solid representation of white belts and first-time attendees: congrats to all of them and to all participants who made of this another unforgetable event. Thank you to Phil Schacht for his leadership and encouragement, and to all our seniors for the relentless attention and support. And thank you Moana Roberts for the great picture!
