Well I’ve been kicking the idea around making a post like this but, if it helps one person then it’ll be worth it. Fitness isn’t easy or quick. It’s a total change of day to day life. Every choice goes into it from waking up to going to bed. When you are awake you have to constantly think, did I get enough steps, did I eat enough protein, is it a clean food, is that cookie or side worth it. You start to compromise with yourself thinking one bad choice won’t hurt. Then the next day you tell yourself the same thing. No you wont gain 10 pounds right away, but it will add up. Slipping a workout because you’re too tired or not “feeling it” today, it all adds up. It’s a mental mind game that I loose often. But, if you push just enough to see progress, you see the results. You’re now invested, that time, effort, energy you put into yourself. Don’t let that go to waste. Don’t let the old habits win. You’ve already made it over the first obstacle. These pictures are about 10 years apart. I look back and feel like there’s no difference but when I see it. I’m proud of what I did. Knowing I could be better and do better is what pushes me to achieve my goals. Everyone reading this can accomplish it too. Keep pushing and reach for the summit!
