Bona Venture Stables, LLC Share-based thoroughbred partnerships He purchased his first thoroughbred in 1999 and formed Bona Venture Stables in 2005.

Bona Venture Stables LLC is a horse racing organization dedicated to providing the average investor an opportunity for ownership in a major league sports franchise – thoroughbred horse racing! Today, there are about 40 individuals who are involved in individual ownership of a thoroughbred race horse through Bona Venture Stables. We maintain an active stable of between 8 to 15 thoroughbreds racing and breeding primarily in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Florida. Bona Venture Stables is managed by Dan Collins, a life-long racing enthusiast who once spent a summer covering the horse racing scene for The Saratogian newspaper in Saratoga Springs, NY. In 1996, he became involved in his first racing syndicate and began learning about pedigrees, conformation and the sales process.

What an absolute thriller at the Spa today! Sail with the Wind swung into action down the stretch under jockey Junior Alvarado and battled all the way to the wire to claim a exciting win in Race 4 at Saratoga Race Course! 🏇💨

What a spectacular Sunday at the track! Here is the replay of Sail With the Wind’s brilliant victory at Aqueduct.

Under a perfectly timed, patient ride by jockey Flavien Prat, Sail With the Wind settled comfortably off the early pace. As the field hit the far turn, Prat guided her three-wide to launch a powerful rally. Once they cleared the top of the lane, she showed an incredible turn of foot, leaving the field behind to win comfortably by three lengths!

Sail With the Wind stormed home with heart and grit! 🏇✨

Our 5YO New York-bred gelding showed true class at Aqueduct yesterday, waiting patiently in fourth before making a powerful move along the rail in the stretch. Under Ricardo Santana Jr., Sail With the Wind held off a tough challenge from Hello Beauty to capture victory in the 1 1/16 mile race, crossing the finish in 1:43.4.
