Thunder 8U season is officially a wrap. Ended with a Monday night double header under the lights against the Miss Scotties Crushers to give us our final 2 wins. Last set of games so we also added in a water balloon toss and a trip to the ice cream truck in between games.

We also played in our final tournament this past weekend and earned ourself another 2nd place finish. Go figure, another 🌩️Saratoga Thunder Vs ⚡️Halfmoon Lightning softball battle 🥎.

Sad to see the season come to an end but these ladies have so much to be proud of since we started this team up in the fall.

52/14/1 for a record since we started, 9 tournaments, 3 1st place finishes, 3 2nd, and 1 1st place win for best costume in the fall Halloween tournament 🐶

We are also super excited and sad at the same time for 10 of our ladies to Send it Send it Deep Deep into the 10U game next year. We will miss them all and we wish them the best!! Sending that crew on their way Evelyn and Maddie are planning to hold the fort down on 8U. They are both looking forward to another I Believe We Will Win season and finding a full new group of softball loving ladies to join their team. Final pool play of the season was a success, landing us the 1st place seed!

Northern Columbia Chaos win 12-4
Spartans 8U win 13-3
Classie Lassie Nor’Easter win 12-2

Sun was out, rain finally stayed away and these little ladies came to play!

Thunder rolled in today to play ball and play ball we did! 3 wins today had us roll back home with a 1st place trophy 🏆🥇

The real thunder put us in a bit of a rain delay so a Utica Lady Comets vs Saratoga Thunder dance off kept the girls warmed up and had our bats on fire to then win the championship game!!

Yesterday’s games were a bit hotter then our bats but we never gave up!
