The All-time performance list at the Hydrograss Throws Field is not updated. Great history of middle, high school and college athletes from the Suncoast and beyond. Masters throwers from all over the world are on this list as well. State, National and World Champions!!

Sarasota County Middle School Track and Field schedule for the upcoming season.

We will be training tomorrow at Brookside Middle @ 4:30. Discus and shot skills and drills. All MS/HS/Masters athletes welcome.

Beginning Tuesday Oct 14th we will begin twice per week skills and drills sessions at Brookside Middle School for 4:30 to 5:45. Open to Sarasota County MS / HS throwers. Parents please RSVP Coach Dixon to reserve your spot. 5:45 pick up is a must. Late pick up will result in removal from future sessions.

Had the opportunity to get a tour of the new track and weight room facility at Sky Ranch. Very, very nice. They will field a track team and will host a dual meet this season. As a first year middle school, The Storm will have a 6th grade only team this season. Go Storm!

very few, if any, cross country runners nominated for HT Athlete of the week. Not seeing articles after the big weekend invitational meets either. Do better.

Knowing that there are some masters athletes following us as well as parents of our athletes, I want to share a site that may be helpful either now or in the future. Those of us suffering from knee pain or have had a knee cartilage tears, consider checking our and following the Knees Over Toes Guy on either FB or Insta. It may help to end your knee pain and improve your mobility and keep you active. His exercises have helped me quite a bit. There is also a good FB post on the Will Tennyson FB page for a look at these exercises.
