EMMA FONGER- “This 11 year old sweetheart is one of my pitching and hitting students that has truly developed a passion for the sport this past year. Coming to lessons consistently has helped her to realize... wow, with help and accountability, I can do this! I've been able to see a shift in Emma's mindset and effort.. from underdog to champion. Coach B celebrates with one of her “players of the year,” Addison!

“This 8 year old, larger than life chick always puts a smile on my face. She is fierce, coachable, passionate, and so much more. She is one of my youngest and tiniest students, but that doesn't stop her from keeping up. Her growth has been AMAZING this year during her first year of playing softball. I am so proud of how far she's come. Addison started in July and attended 19 lessons in 2024. Congrats Addison!!!”- Coach B ❤️

Coach B celebrates with one of her private students, Karina! Karina earned one of the “Player Of the Year” awards for 2024!

“This 10 year old firecracker has warmed my heart for the last year and has shown me what true dedication looks like from such a young athlete. Karina does catching, hitting, and strength/conditioning with me and has been so consistent. She has improved so much and I'm so excited to watch her grow into a lethal weapon that will dominate any opponent!! Her 10u Riptide team couldnt do it without her! In 2024, she attended 28 private lessons. GO KARINA!!! 🎉”- Coach B ❤️

When reflecting on this very first year of the organization, here are some notes about coaching, youth, and things in between 💜

-There is no amount of love, support, and skill you can show as a coach that will lead to retention of 100% of your athletes. Every family has a unique situation- with intricate pieces the coaches will never know about. They also have previous experiences, opinions, and goals for their child that are personal! And that’s ok 🙌🏽 Coaches, never beat yourself up over this!

-Children truly are special gems, gifts to this world. They are so vulnerable, moldable, innocent, kind, eager…. and us as adults have to view them in this way in order to actively protect them from the unintentional damage we can cause by dragging them into messes. In my short time coaching travel ball, 95% of team longevity issues are due to drama, immaturity, and miscommunications by the ADULTS. We have to be better…. for our children’s sakes. When I was growing up playing travel ball, I played for 2 organizations my ENTIRE CAREER! Age 12 to age 19- two organizations… never drama… never half the team quitting in a season… never spewing venom at each other on Facebook…. Never.

-Although travel ball and coaching in general has its fair share of not so easy components, to show up to practice and see these precious girls every week… it’s absolutely priceless. When you have a good group, they’re all you think about. When you have a good group, all of the pain from previous coaching experiences melts away. When you have a good group, all you want is to sacrifice everything just to see them smiling and growing. Coaching is such a tough job, but the right group always makes it worth it.

A huge thank you to every coach, player, parent, donor, sponsor, prayer partner, etc. that has helped us flourish over our first year. The journey is just beginning! 💜

EF 12u ended their fall season as CHAMPIONS! We are so incredibly proud of our wonderful girls for all of their growth and success this season. We ended with a record of 28-14-3 on the season. We’ve given girls and families the opportunity to be apart of something so much bigger than ourselves or the sport of softball. How we conduct ourselves on and off the field is what sets us apart.

We are believing God will bring us 2-3 more amazing girls to complete our roster for the spring season. We are ready to keep being the change we want to see in the travel ball community.

Elevate 12u is still seeking three more competitive players, preferably 2012’s to round out our roster for the 2025 spring season! Pitching/catching a PLUS! 🙏🏽 We have a great group of girls and parents, and two young female coaches. Drama free, politics free- an ethical and upstanding organization who is ready to take some players to the next level.

We are an organization that cares deeply for our girls and our mission is to go against travel ball norms by offering multiposition development, EARNED but fair playing time, acts of selflessness, longevity, compassion, humility, and more.
