Bhāvanā Yoga classes are designed to cultivate your relationship to the physical, mental, & spiritual bodies. A sacred space for our community and a place for exploring new paths of healing, finding balance, connecting to breath, and deepening self-awareness. All our classes are designed with safety, accessibility, and comfort in mind. Whether you are a beginner or have been practicing for years,

our open-level classes will meet your needs.

We aim to keep our class sizes smaller (under 14 students) so we may provide a more personal and boutique experience. This enables our teachers to cultivate a deeper focus with each student without the overwhelm of a high capacity space. Our intention is for you to know that you are seen, heard, and able to explore your yoga in a space of support at Bhavana.

Facility
Our studio is located on University Parkway and Lockwood Ridge Rd. This studio has bamboo floors, adjustable lighting, an infrared 3 source heat system for healthy heated yoga classes, a lobby and laundry facilities to keep our blankets and yoga towels clean.

Today’s 500th class milestone gift went to one of our sweetest members. Her first class with us was 763 days ago. That is a beautiful commitment to herself and her practice. Through growth, nourishment, patience, + consistency, she’s been able to build a sustainable + supportive practice.

We’re so grateful for our community + their dedication to themselves + the community.

Bhavana Yoga Studio turned 8️⃣ years old earlier this week!

There’s so much significance to the number 8… starting with our favorite – The 8 Limbs of Yoga, of course – guiding us toward balance + self-realization.

The number 8 also represents the infinity symbol, reminding us of the infinite potential within each of us to transform + evolve, much like the ever-flowing energy of the Crown Chakra, symbolized by its thousand petals. This duality is reflected in the balance of opposites—light + dark, inner + outer, yin + yang—that yoga invites us to harmonize.

In numerology, 8 can signify spiritual power, urging us to align both our physical + inner worlds. Our studio’s 8-year journey mirrors this path, a continuous evolution where each year becomes a stepping stone towards deeper connection + growth.

As we step into this new chapter, we invite you to embrace the infinite possibilities ahead + continue evolving with us.

These women, our community.. what a gift it is to be in this environment, doing this work. Bhavana is about to celebrate our 8th Birthday later this month, so this is such a wonderful way to move into our next year.

As a Sarasota native (yes some of us exist 😆), having your businesses recognized in the local magazine and paper is just so cool.
